How to Buy Fasteners:
Samples, MOQ, Lead Time, Terms

Samples are 100 pieces and free on standard parts, and production starts at 25,000. Prices are quoted in USD against Ex-Works, FOB Shenzhen, DDU or DDP and hold for one month. Everything on this page is what we put on the quotation — packing, documents and peak-season timing included.

The quotation

Four things decide the price on the sheet

Two buyers can order the same part and see different unit prices. These four are why.

Price basis

USD, quoted Ex-Works, FOB Shenzhen, DDU or DDP. Name the term you buy on and the quotation is issued against it, so freight and duty are not a surprise at the invoice.

Volume tier

25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 pieces carry their own unit price. The tier on your sheet is the one that matches the quantity you asked for.

Validity

A quoted price holds for one month. After that it is re-quoted, because material and plating move between quarters.

Sample charge

Standard fasteners are sampled free. Custom parts carry a sample charge of 50 to 100 USD, quoted with the part before the run.

What 100 pcs means

A sample is for testing, not for stock

The sample stage is 100 pieces: enough for your own dimensional checks and for a pilot assembly, not enough to be a production quantity. That is why standard parts are sampled at no charge.

Grades 4.8 to 12.9, sizes M0.6 to M20, six material families, DIN, ISO and ANSI, RoHS compliant.

Standard and custom parts share the same 15 and 25 day clock in normal season. The difference is the sample charge, not the calendar.

Peak season

The calendar we quote is the one we can hold

In peak season the sample moves to 20 days and production to 35. We quote that calendar up front rather than promising the normal-season number and explaining afterwards.

Ask for the peak-season calendar at quotation time if your line runs through Q4 — it changes the delivery date, not the price basis.

The order

Five steps from a part number to a pallet

Nothing is committed before your approval, and every step below has a fixed output.

01
Send the part or the drawing
Part number or file

A standard part number, or a drawing in PDF, CAD, SolidWorks, DWG or STEP/DXF. The revision you send is the revision we quote.

02
Quotation
USD, one month

Priced in USD against Ex-Works, FOB Shenzhen, DDU or DDP, on the volume tier that matches your quantity. The price holds for one month.

03
Sample
100 pcs

100 pieces go out for your own test. Standard fasteners are sampled free; custom parts carry a 50 to 100 USD sample charge. 15 days, or 20 in peak season.

04
Your approval
Test result

You test the 100 pieces before any production quantity is committed. The approval is what releases the run.

05
Production and documents
25 days

25 days from approval, 35 in peak season. Parts arrive in 2,000-piece PP bags, under 15 kg per carton, with the six documents in the box.

Questions

Five questions buyers ask before the first order

How many pieces do we get as a sample?

100 pcs, which is enough for your own testing and for a pilot build. Standard fasteners are sampled at no charge; custom parts carry a sample charge of 50 to 100 USD.

What is the minimum order quantity?

25,000 pcs for production. Pricing is tiered at 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 pcs, so a larger quantity is quoted at its own unit price.

How long do samples and production take?

15 days for the sample and 25 days for production, on standard and custom parts alike. In peak season those become 20 and 35 days.

How are the parts packed?

PP bags of 2,000 pcs, cartons under 15 kg at 23 x 19 x 16 cm, on pallets. Receiving is a bag count rather than a piece count.

What are the payment terms?

T/T or PayPal, in USD. Prices are quoted Ex-Works, FOB Shenzhen, DDU or DDP and hold for one month.

Ready to price a part, or still checking the terms?

Send the part number or the drawing with the quantity you expect, and the answer comes back as a quotation — price tier, sample charge and delivery date on one page.
